● Special Feature: The Malayan Campaign and Japanese Tanks
On 8 December 1941, Japan entered the Pacific War with the launch of the Malayan Campaign, which preceded the attack on Pearl Harbour. Army units that had landed across the peninsula began their advance towards Singapore at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. This special feature examines the Malayan Campaign from the Army’s perspective, accompanied by model examples. We recommend viewing this alongside ‘Ship Model Special No. 99’, which was released prior to this issue.
