[Product Details]
- This product is the second edition of the 1:700 scale etching parts universal window frame set for Imperial Japanese Navy vessels, designed to enhance the precision of the bridge area. This edition includes window frames with heights of 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 0.9mm, 1.1mm, 1.2mm, 1.3mm, and 1.4mm. For window frames with heights of 1.0mm and 0.7mm, please purchase the first edition (MDF-144).
- Three types of horizontal spacing for the window frames are available: 0.8mm, 0.9mm, and 1.0mm. For bridges with angular planes, it is common for the vertical frames to align with the corners. By selecting parts that match the horizontal spacing for the front, diagonal front, and sides of the bridge, and attaching them individually, you can eliminate any inconsistencies.
- A set of 30 size confirmation gauges is included to easily measure the size of the model bridge. These gauges are also compatible with the first edition. If the sizes do not match, adjust the model to fit the height.
- The set also includes window frame etching parts specifically for the bridge of the Takao-class heavy cruiser Chokai. Ensure compatibility with your kit before use.
These parts are designed to be bent and feature engraved recessed molds on the back to facilitate bending. Refer to the arrows marked on the lower part of the parts for bending positions.
- Use instant adhesive or epoxy adhesives for assembly.
